Creative Pottery Studio in North London

Welcome to Ceramics Sculpture Studio, a pottery studio in West Hampstead and a dedicated space for learning and developing ceramic skills.

The studio provides a practical, well-equipped environment for pottery classes, workshops and independent practice. Its layout allows for demonstrations, individual work and the gradual development of skills through hands-on experience.

The Studio Space

The studio is organised to support different stages of ceramic practice, from preparing clay and learning essential techniques to refining forms and developing finished pieces.

Facilities include:

• Pottery wheels for throwing and developing forms.

• Dedicated work areas for hand-building and other making processes.

• Kilns for firing ceramic work.

• Workbenches and space for demonstrations and individual practice.

The arrangement of the studio allows students to work at their own pace while having access to guidance and demonstrations throughout their sessions.

Learning at the Studio

Classes and workshops are led by ceramic artist and educator Cosmin Ciofirdel, whose teaching draws on more than two decades of experience working with clay.

Sessions combine demonstrations, practical instruction and individual guidance, with an emphasis on understanding the material and developing technique through repetition and practice.

Small group sizes allow Cosmin to work closely with participants, responding to their individual progress and helping them develop their skills at different stages of learning.
