We are seeking for a Pottery Teacher who will be able to teach four of our beginners / intermediates classes.

Start date: Monday 4th September 2023
Monday Five Weeks Beginners Pottery Class - 5 hours from 5 pm to 10 pm.
Tuesday Beginner to Intermediate Six Weeks Throwing Class - 5 hours from 5
pm to 10 pm.
Saturday One Day Pottery Wheel Class - 8 hours from 9 am to 5 pm.
Saturday Throwing Taster Class - 5 hours from 9 am to 2 pm
Required:
Education: Bachelor's (preferred)
Minimum two years of teaching experience.
Please note that the right candidate must have a “can do” attitude and be full of
positive energy.
Will have extensive knowledge of clay as material as part of their main practice and be able to work on weekends. You will be interviewed on the pottery wheel so please come prepared.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Excellent entertainer.
Enthusiastic and passionate about ceramics.
Teaching experience with groups of up to 10 students. You have to be comfortable with talking and entertaining large groups of people.
The ability to deliver to and accommodate a wide range of students at different levels is essential.
Provide classroom experiences centered around challenge and enjoyment for all students.
Provide great encouragement analysis of the art in progress for all students.
Wheel-throwing experience
Hand-build techniques experience
Strong technical skills are required.
