LONDON CRAFT WEEK 3 OCTOBER 2020
We are proud to be part of London Craft Week this year.
London Craft Week returns to the capital for its sixth edition from 30 September – 10 October 2020. Celebrating outstanding British and international creativity, this year the festival brings together over 250 established and emerging makers, designers, brands and galleries from around the world.
As part of the LCW programme this year, Ceramics Sculpture Studio is hosting two special events on Saturday 3rd October. We are inviting everyone who is passionate about clay and ceramics to try their hands at throwing pottery. You will be guided through the whole process of making, from clay preparation to the importance of body position on the pottery wheel, from centering the clay on the pottery wheel to shaping it into a bowl, cup, jug etc.
The class is 2.5 hours long and is a great pottery wheel throwing introduction suitable for all levels, from beginners to intermediate or more advanced levels who are looking to practice and develop their throwing skills.
