About

Ceramics Sculpture Studio is an intimate creative space accessible to anyone who shares a passion for clay and ceramics, from total beginners to professional artists.

Our classes and workshops are a creative journey through the medium of clay, covering techniques from hand building, throwing on a pottery wheel to glazing and firing. Our mission is to create beautiful ceramics artwork and to cultivate a great sense of well-being and personal growth. And of course, one of the best rewards of practising with clay is that it’s just plain fun.

The studio is located in the heart of West Hampstead, in a beautiful Victorian Warehouse, under the patronage of Kingsgate Workshops Trust.

Ceramics Sculpture Studio opened in 2015 and is founded and run by potter designer and sculptor Cosmin Ciofirdel.

Cosmin Ciofirdel is a ceramic artist and educator based in London, UK. His passion for ceramics stems from his childhood when he first discovered clay while playing on a riverbank. Since then, he has continuously explored, learned, and shared his experience, knowledge, and love for clay.

In 2015, Cosmin Ciofirdel established Ceramics Sculpture Studio with the ambition of creating functional pottery for everyday use, unique ceramic sculpture artworks, and fostering creativity through the medium of clay.

The studio offers a diverse range of pottery classes, workshops, master classes, and memberships.
